Economy rooms are narrow, poorly equipped and show wear and tear, accessible only by stairs. Service personnel in breakfast room is untypically unfriendly to every nationality of guests. Public transport is via express boat in Soi 30 half a mile round the corner." |

January 1, 2010 by Bradley Mann Visit Date:December 30, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Get what you pay for... not much! We had cockroaches and bugs in our room. Hotel didn t feel very safe. Other than that was ok. About a 20minute walk to Saphin Taksin skytrain station. Wouldn t recommend. Unless all you are worried about is price- because it s cheap! They let us check in at 5am which was good." |

prompt and reliable, December 29, 2008 by Venkatesh Narayanan Visit Date:December 27, 2008 "nice budget hotel and friendly staff. The hotel surrounding is messy and too far from the airport but close to shopping spots." |
October 23, 2008 by Maria Veden Visit Date:October 5, 2008 "Very unpleasant experience. Roaches in great number. Dirty and smelly a/c. Sheets and towels are of questionable appearance. NOTHING good about the room. Advertised as at close proximity to train station, however, it is a 30 minutes walk, so taxi is need anyways. Indian restaurant at the hotel serves good food." |

ok but hotel wants to charge extra 7% if payment is made by credit card. This is in contrast to your assurance that all VAT are already included in the room rates regardless of payment mode. Luckily, I have enough cash with me., December 25, 2007 by HONG LAI FUN Visit Date:December 6, 2007 "Basically, you get very friendly and helpful staff there. It is a budget hotel and you get the bare minimum expected. Some areas need improvement though. Of the two deluxe rooms that we booked, one of them had two small cockroaches and a leaking tap. Otherwise, everything in the room is ok. The walls of the rooms are not very sound proof as the ringing of the telephone in one room could be heard distinctly in another in the early morning. The breakfast service also needs improvement. If you are on early tours such as to set off around 7am, don t expect breakfast to be ready. They only serve breakfast around eight. But when we specifically requested, they prepared toasted bread with jam and butter and a cup of tea/coffee for us each. However, the cook seems very slow in preparing. Even when we told him well in advance that we needed it at 6.40am, it still drag on till almost 6.55am before we could get only our toasted bread. Luckily, we reach our airport in time. This aspect certainly needs more improvement. I also emailed about four days before I left for Bangkok to check if they provide hairdryer and pick-up service but todate I received no reply from their manager! When I need to pay the balance of hotel charges, I paid in cash as they will charge extra 7% if pay by credit card, even though the sawadee.com said all VAT are already included in the room rates! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a budget hotel. Not too bad except for these minor hiccups. But they can certainly improve on the points mentioned. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
March 28, 2007 by Marta Buczko Visit Date:March 10, 2007 "Stayed here at the second time. Good hotel for that price - if you are on a short Bangkok visit.Only the hot staircase is exhausting due to no air there. Nice and helpful people! We would stay there next time again. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
ok, January 10, 2007 by traveller Visit Date:December 23, 2006 "we got a standard room in the section of the hotel without an elevator. the room was a good size. our bed was covered in body hair, we asked them for more towels so we could sleep on top of the towels, but the cleaning lady would not give us extra. the bed was not comfortable at all, very lumpy and the springs hurt. breakfast was ok, nothing special. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
